It is the time of the year when graduates of the UST College of Architecture would come back and reminisce. It is with great pride by presenting the College of Architecture Grand Alumni Homecoming in celebration of its 86 years. The event was led by the Architecture Batch 1991, which turned 25 years, the Silver Jubilarian this year, with Batch year 2011, 2006, 2001, 1996, 1986, 1981, 1976, 1971 and 1966.

The USTCAAA Grand Alumni Homecoming was organized by the CAAA, the official Alumni Association of the College of Architecture in cooperation with the Architecture Alumni Board members, and the Alumni Organizing Committee members, Batch ’91 Representative and Sponsoring Architect, Ar. Albert Yu, FUAP, Batch ’86 Representative and Physical Arrangement, Ar. Antonio Valdez, FUAP, Batch 2002 Representative, Souvenir Program and Professor, Ar. Felicisimo Tejuco, UAP, fellow Batch ’91 Raffle Committee, Ar. Maria Joy Belicena, UAP, Ar. Bernadine Uy-Lim, UAP, and Batch 2009 Representative, Registration, Coordinator and Professor, Ar. John Carlo Sayco, UAP, under the supervision of the CAAA Board members headed by the President, Ar. Mariano S. Arce, Jr., FUAP, and the Office of the Alumni Relations. The event was hosted by the fellow Alumni Organizing Committee members, Batch ’91 Representative, Ar. Kenneth Chua, UAP and Ar. Alfredo Alcala, Jr., UAP.

Students from all levels in Architecture, as well as the Fine Arts & Design College, the Architecture Alumni, UAPSA, Architecture Student Council, Alumni from other colleges and the VIP Alumni from other batches attended the event.

The Architecture Alumni who participated and attended the event are the highlights of the program: Ar. Dean Jojo Fernandez, to talk a launching of Apprenticeship Program, and Ar. Yolanda David-Reyes, FUAP, APEC, ASEAN Architect, AIA, Jubilarian Batch ’75 Representative, and Principal Architect of YDRRLR Architects, the Dean of the UST College of Architecture and Fine Arts  for a long period of nine years.  Under her leadership, the College achieved the status of “Center of Excellence” in the year 1999 granted by the Commission on Higher Education of the Philippines.  She has given major contributions and services to her profession when she served as the first woman National President of the United Architects of the Philippines.
